Two places, one plan

The clinic and your home, side by side

The same therapists write the same plan of care in both places. You choose where each visit happens, and you can change your mind.

What we work on

Care for balance, strength and getting around

Four kinds of visits, each with its own page. Your therapist plans yours with you.

  • A patient in white socks stands on a wooden balance board beside a therapist

    Balance and falls

Practice the steps, turns and curbs that make you feel unsteady.

  • A man with a knee brace and a walker and a woman walk side by side down a park path, seen from behind

    Strength and walking

Get stronger in the legs and hips, and walk farther with or without a cane.

    Strength and walking
  • An older man's hands squeeze a soft therapy ball in his lap

    After a joint replacement

Rebuild strength and ease of movement after a new hip or knee.

    Visits at home

The same care in your own rooms, with your family beside you.

    Visits at home

For the family

Bring your family into the plan

Many of our patients come with a daughter, a grandson or a neighbor who helps at home. We make room for them. They can sit in, ask questions and learn how to help, in the language your family speaks at home.

  • Sit in on a visit and ask your questions

  • Learn how to help with steps, chairs and the car

  • Get your exercises on paper, in English or Spanish

  • Talk with the therapist by phone or WhatsApp

How it works

From your first call to your first visit

  1. 01

Step 1: You call, text or write

By phone, text, WhatsApp or the form. A person from the front desk answers, in English or Spanish.

  2. 02

Step 2: We check your plan

We look at your benefits and call you before the visit. If you pay yourself, we send a written estimate first.

  3. 03

Step 3: Your first visit, here or at home

About an hour with a physical therapist, who listens, examines you, explains what they find and agrees on a plan with you.

Know what to expect before you come

We explain how your plan or paying yourself works, and give a written estimate in advance if you pay without insurance.

Questions we hear most

Do I need a referral?

In New Mexico you can start without a referral. Your plan may still ask for one, and Medicare asks your doctor to sign your plan of care. We tell you what applies before your first visit.

Can my family come with me?

Yes. Family members are welcome at the clinic and at home. Your therapist can show them how to help.

Can I have my visit in Spanish?

Yes. Elodia, Genaro and Maritza treat in Spanish. Tell us your language when you call and we match you.

What happens at a home visit?

Your therapist comes with a bag of equipment, looks at how you move through your home and practices the steps you use every day. Your family can join in.

Ask us, or ask for a first visit

Tell us how to reach you and when. A person from the front desk answers on the next working day, in English or Spanish.
