What a visit looks like
What we do
Your therapist checks your strength, your feet and how you stand and turn, then practices steps, turns and curbs with you, with a hand nearby. A small group session is led by Elodia.
What decides how many visits
What your therapist finds, what you want to do again and how your body responds. Your therapist talks it through with you.
Who treats you
A physical therapist. Elodia leads the balance sessions and treats in English and Spanish.
About our teamHow it is paid for

Questions about this care
What if I have already fallen?
Tell your doctor about a fall, especially if you hit your head. If you need emergency care, call 911. Your therapist can then work with you on the steps, the strength and the places where you felt unsteady.
Is dizziness something you treat?
If you are dizzy, see your doctor first. Your therapist works with what your doctor finds.
Can a family member come with me?
Yes. Many people bring a family member, and your therapist can show them how to help at home.
