What a visit looks like
What we do
Your therapist works from your surgeon's instructions. We practice getting up and down, walking and steps, and move on to strength as you are ready. At home we also look at the chairs, rugs and stairs you use.
What decides how many visits
What your therapist finds, what you want to do again and how your body responds. Your therapist talks it through with you.
Who treats you
A physical therapist. Maritza works with people after a joint replacement and treats in English and Spanish.
